Granary Holiday Cottage:-comprises the end of a 100 year old stable and Granary, set in the peaceful countryside just one and a half miles from the village of Snainton, with views to the North Yorkshire Moors. Snainton offers a pub/restaurant, local shop/garage, sports field with children's play area. Granary Cottage is ideally placed for walking, cycling and horse riding activities with Dalby Forest and the Moors a short drive away. It is an ideal touring base with the beaches at Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. The market towns of Pickering, Malton, Helmsley, the historic City of York and "HeartbeatCountry" all within easy reach.
The Accommodation:- is on one level with two steps up into the spacious kitchen/diner with Belfast sink. The bright lounge has an open fire with brick fireplace and deep set cottage windows. French doors open onto the patio area. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and one with two singles and wardrobe with shelves. Also a bathroom with bath and shower attachment over, Wash-hand-basin, toilet and shaver point.
Non-Smokers only. Children welcome and one wellbehaved pet.
Services:- Refrigerator + freezer compartment. Electric hob with oven and grill, microwave, colour TV with DVD, radio/CD player. Oil fired central heating- No extra charges for fuel or electricity. Bed linen and towels provided. A travel cot can be provided upon request. A welcome pack is set for your arrival + initial supply of logs and coal. Outside there is a York stone patio area with garden furniture, BBQ and the use of a large grassy garden. Private drive and parking for two cars, ensures your stay will be complete.
