Another wonderful stay at the Granary Cottage. Jane and Kevin are always there with a warm welcome as well as a beautifully clean and well maintained property. The location is perfect .. offering peace, privacy and an “away from it all” vibe - yet only a short drive to beautiful villages and charming seaside towns. Granary cottage is warm and cosy with everything you could need for a perfect break. See you again soon !

We had a wonderful stay at the stables, Jane and Kevin are great hosts. Surrounded by lovely countryside and lots of places within easy reach of the cottage. The cottage has everything you could need and the beds were really comfy.
We’ve just had the best week at The Stables Cottage – absolutely beautiful! It was spotless, warm, and super cosy, especially with the log fire. The main bedroom had a really comfy king size bed and lovely en-suite bathroom. The other double bedroom and en-suite the same 👍🏻 This cottage had a large enclosed garden which was perfect for the dog too.
It’s nice and peaceful (we didn’t hear a single firework!), with gorgeous walks nearby, Dalby Forest about 20 minutes away, and North Yorkshire Water Park just down the road.
We also peeked at The Granary Cottage – just as lovely and all on one level. Couldn’t recommend these cottages enough – we’ve already booked to go back next year! ☺️

It’s comfortable and the hosts are amazing. Would highly recommend staying there. Had an amazing time and we will be back,had everything you need too. Cleanliness was 100% a very lovely cottage to stay.

Of the two cottages available we stayed in The Stables. Over the years as two couples we have rented a variety of cottages in the UK. In a very quiet spot with excellent views in all directions The Stables is easily one of the best we have found. Two excellent bedrooms with en suite facilities and plenty of space downstairs. Very well equipped there was nothing found wanting. Everything was beautifully clean and it was very cosy. Jane and Kevin are wonderful hosts and we hope to see them again.

We had a lovely stay at the stables cottage. Jane and Kevin were great hosts and gave some great ideas of things we could do in the local area. The cottage has everything you could want and has very comfy beds. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and lots of places within easy reach

We stayed at Granary Cottage over Christmas this year 2024. It couldn’t have been more magical with a lovely open fire. Jane/Kevin were so friendly and made everything perfect even down to the welcome pack waiting for us. We would highly recommend this cottage and would stay again . Thank you again Jane /Kevin.
