Fountains by Floodlight at Fountains Abbey, Saturdays in October
See the spectacular ruins of Fountains Abbey lit up against the Autumn night sky. The National Trust site will be illuminated each Saturday night where you can enjoy an Evening tour and listen to a live choir performance.
Musicport, 19th – 21st October
The Whitby Music Festival is now in its 19th year and is a chance to enjoy some fabulous music from many different genres in the Whitby Pavillion.
The Great York Ghost Hunt, 26th October – 2nd November
There have been some ghost lamps hidden around the great city of York – just in time for Halloween. Take a trip round this spooky historic city and see how many you can find! It’s recommended to try this between 5pm and 7pm when the Ghost Hunt conditions are just right!
October – 4th November
Take part in a spooky scavenger hunt to find the Witches of Freeholder’s Woods broomsticks. There have been stolen by some naughty sprites and children can help find them on an enchanted trail.
Hallowscream at York Maze, 27th October – 3rd November
York Maze turns terrifying for Halloween. Hallowscream includes five haunted house attractions with plenty of scares and screams along the way. Definitely not one for the faint hearted.
